El precandidato a la Alcaldía de Roatán, Ron McNab, en compañía del Diputado Raymond Cherington, realizaron un importante recorrido en la comunidad de Isla Bonita para escuchar a sus habitantes y conocer de cerca sus necesidades.
Durante la caminata, una valiente niña hizo una petición conmovedora: una escuela para Isla Bonita.
McNab expresó que fue un momento especial en el recorrido: «Su deseo de seguir estudiando y su preocupación por la educación en su comunidad reflejan el anhelo de muchos niños y niñas en Roatán».
Asimismo agregó: «Por ella y por toda nuestra niñez, seguiremos trabajando incansablemente para mejorar la infraestructura escolar, abrir más escuelas y elevar la calidad educativa. Porque la educación es la clave para más oportunidades y un mejor futuro».
El actual alcalde también agradeció a esta valiente niña por confiarle esta importante tarea y por recordarle a todos que es esencial seguir impulsando la educación de calidad.

The candidate for Mayor of Roatán, Ron McNab, along with Deputy Raymond Cherington, carried out an important visit to the community of Isla Bonita to listen to its residents and understand their needs firsthand.
During the walk, a brave little girl made a touching request: a school for Isla Bonita.
McNab described it as a special moment in the visit: «Her desire to continue studying and her concern for education in her community reflect the dreams of many children in Roatán.»
He also added: «For her and for all our children, we will continue working tirelessly to improve school infrastructure, open more schools, and enhance the quality of education. Because education is the key to greater opportunities and a better future.»
The current mayor also thanked this courageous girl for trusting him with this important task and for reminding everyone of the essential need to continue promoting quality education.
